A Swiss dream come true in Brazil
BAMOU was born from a woman’s bold dream: to unite in a single shoe comfort + lightness + malleability + beauty + environmental and social awareness. This is how the first BAMOU collection was born: Hi Move – with 4 variations of our Hi Top Sneakers.
Our goal is to demystify the idea that to dress consciously you need to give up design. Hi Move is here to stay: nurturing a cruelty-free aesthetic is just as important as nurturing yourself.
To make our dream come true we went in search of suppliers with advanced eco sustainable technology and free of animal cruelty. We entered a market in full evolution, which still has a lot to grow and improve, but that already brings strong hope in its new creations and ways of recycling.
The shoe design was inspired by Swiss practicality, with a clean and unisex design. The vegan fabric hugs the foot, giving you firmness to accomplish your steps on a daily basis. The recycled tyre sole is super malleable, allowing quick movements with good impact absorption. The production is made in Brazil, where 95% of cotton production does not use irrigation systems, thus ensuring a more sustainable production.
Our purpose is to seed awareness, compassion and freedom into the world. With a lot of daring, design and levity!
