How do I know what my size is?
BAMOU follows the metrics of the footwear industry in general, so usually the size matches the one you wear often. But to be sure which BAMOU size will fit you, you can measure your foot and check the size on our size chart. When you open the page of a shoe, you will see next to it a table of numbers to clarify your doubts. And if you still buy a size that does not fit, you have up to 7 days to exchange it.
How to adjust the shoe on my foot?
Our Hi Move Sneakers come with laces so that you can adjust the shoe to the shape of your foot. As soon as you receive your BAMOU, open the side zipper and loosen the laces. Then, wearing your preferred pair of hi or mid-top socks, put on your Hi-top Sneakers, close the side zipper and start to tighten the laces from bottom to top, adjusting them according to your foot and the way you feel more comfortable.
How to wash my shoes?
Kindness! That is all that your BAMOU asks of you when cleaning. Use only a toothbrush (or similar brush and with soft bristles) and neutral coconut soap. Clean it manually, to avoid fading the fabric.
Do you have any physical shop where I can try on the shoes?
For now BAMOU is an exclusively online shop. But, throughout the year we are present at some fairs and festivals. Follow our instagram @bamou.ch and stay tuned with our agenda.
What are they made of?
Our shoes hold within them our mission for a home better cared for, with happy people and compassion for all beings. That is why we go for eco sustainable technologies, vegan production and monitoring of the production chain.
Sole: natural rubber or recycled tyre rubber
UPPER: 100% cotton canvas or synthetic PU
Insole: foam rubber with 100% cotton lining
We are still small and we know that as we expand we can achieve more goals for waste reduction, water saving and social well-being.
Are they comfortable shoes?
Very comfortable! The design of our shoes was made on the basis of comfort and malleability. In addition to being super light, they let you feel freedom with every step you take.

I didn't find the colour and/or fabric I wanted in my size, can I place an order?
We do not work with specific orders yet, because we are still taking our first steps. But as we grow we can expand this idea together!
Does the shoe loosen up when I wear it?
Yes, as it is made of fabric, it is normal for it to soften a little bit to adapt to the shape of your foot. Generally, it will yield a little on the sides of the toes.
Are sizes and shapes the same for men and women?
Yes, everything is unisex, so the models are the same for all sizes
Is there a free shipping policy above a certain value?
Yes, above 200CHF your shipping is free to anywhere in Europe.
